PM asked Rahul Gandhi to withdraw from Wayanad as the Left party called them “Enemies in Kerala, BFF outside.”

PM urged Rahul Gandhi to withdraw from the Wayanad constituency as the Left party labeled their relationship as “Enemies in Kerala, BFF outside.”

PM Modi stated that the Left front aimed to remove Rahul Gandhi, whom they referred to as the ‘crown prince’ of the Congress, from Wayanad.

One day after the Communist Party of India (CPI) announced Annie Raja as their candidate for the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Tuesday that the Left Front and the Congress were adversaries in Kerala but close allies elsewhere.

During a rally in Thiruvananthapuram, PM Modi expressed that the Left front desired the removal of the “crown prince” of the Congress, alluding to Rahul Gandhi, from Wayanad in Kerala. Currently, Rahul Gandhi holds the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat.

PM Modi stated that the two parties engage in acts of violence against each other, launching attacks and displaying enmity within Kerala. However, outside of Kerala, they maintain a close friendship, being best friends forever who share meals together.

In a seemingly sarcastic remark aimed at Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi mentioned that the Left desires for the crown prince of Congress to be removed from Wayanad. These individuals are advising the crown prince to refrain from involvement in Kerala, as per PM Modi’s statement.

Continuing his criticism towards the Left and the Congress, PM Modi emphasized that their main priority lies in allowing their family to govern the nation. According to him, the welfare of their own family takes precedence over the welfare of the Indian people.

PM Modi made his comments a day following the CPI’s announcement of candidates for four Lok Sabha seats in Kerala. Among them, Annie Raja, a senior party leader, has been nominated to contest from the Wayanad constituency. In an interview with India Today TV, Raja suggested that Rahul Gandhi should reconsider running from Wayanad and focus on strengthening the INDIA bloc. She questioned the significance of Gandhi’s victory in 2019 against the CPI candidate in Wayanad, emphasizing that winning only one seat does not bring substantial benefits.
